6th-7th October: Dog Friendly Guide to this Weekend in Oxfordshire

Looking for something dog friendly to do in Oxfordshire and the surrounding area this weekend? Then you have come to the right place.

This weekend it’s all about Blue Cross Week – so why not get involved with one of the events below.

Saturday 6th October: The Burford Bark (dog walk) and Pawtastic Pawty

On Saturday the 6th of October the Burford Rehoming Centre is hosting The Burford Bark (dog walk) and Pawtastic Pawty in aid of Blue Cross Week 2018.

Come along to the centre at 10am and join the 5km Burford Bark dog walk through the surrounding countryside then head back for a pawty. There will be tea and cake to refresh dogs and human alike.

Blue Cross are asking for £10 per dog to help cover some costs which includes a doggie bag full of goodies. Please email Burford@bluecross.org.uk for more details on this event.

At the pawty:

  • Does your pooch need a bit of a face trim or nail clipping? Yatta Dog Spa will be at the Pawty on the 6th of October offering a few small pet grooming services! https://www.facebook.com/YattaDogSpa/

Sunday 7th October: All Paws for the Cause Dog Walk at Blue Cross Lewknor

Fancy a 6 km dog walk through the countryside? Then come and join Blue Cross Lewknor at 12.30pm on Sunday 7th October.

Put on something blue and bring your £10 donation for an afternoon walk followed by refreshments at the centre to help celebrate Blue Cross Week. They are asking for a small £10 donation per dog and this includes your refreshments and doggy bag.
