All things apples at Hughenden Manor

Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th – High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, HP14 4LA

Apple Weekend at Hughenden celebrates the produce from their Walled Garden orchard. There’ll be apple harvesting, tastings and apple pressing for you to enjoy and an Autumn Market with a range of artisan stalls selling local food, drinks and gifts to buy. And you can find out more about the harvest’s most vital friends, the bees, at beekeeping and honey sessions with their apiary experts. Countryside crafts will be on display too with Hughenden’s volunteer team including wood carving and charcoal production.

Didcot FUN DOG SHOW

Sunday 14th October – Civic Hall, Britwell Rd, Didcot OX11 7JN

Join in the fun in Didcot this weekend with a super fun dog show. Classes include: Best Puppy; Prettiest Bitch; Handsomest Dog; Best Veteran; Best Fancy Dress Owner and Dog; Best 6 Legs; Best Junior Handler; Best Didcot Dog; Best in Show.

Registration is just £2 per class and the event begins at 3 o’clock in the main hall.
