The Berkshire Christmas Pawtry Fun Charity Dog Show

Saturday 10th November and Sunday 11th November,  10am – 5pm

Newbury Showground, Berkshire RG18 9QZ

Here at The Oxford Dog Blog we still think it’s a bit early to be throwing our paws fully into the festive season. However, we are more than willing to make an exception for The Berkshire Christmas Pawtry this weekend. Featuring a dog show on each day, a doggie Father Christmas, The National Agility Competition, Have a Go Agility and Demos, and a Main Dog Ring with loads of fun.

Tickets are available on the gate on the day or discounted online.

WWI Beacons of Light Event, Stowe

Sunday 11th November – 6:30pm – 7:30pm

Stowe National Trust car park opposite the New Inn visitor centre.

This event is part of a national event, Battle’s Over, designed to pay tribute to the millions killed or wounded in the First World War.

To mark 100 years since the end of the WWI a beacon in the grounds of Stowe, joining over 1000 other locations across the country in the WWI Beacons of Light commemoration to symbolise an end to the darkness of war and a return to the light of peace.

The beacon will be lit at 7pm in the overflow

Dogs should be on leads for this event.
