Waddesdon Manor is now even more dog-friendly

Looking for something dog friendly to do in Oxfordshire and the surrounding area this weekend? Then you have come to the right place.

This week we have sniffed out a great offer for dog owners at Waddesdon Manor.

Ferdinand de Rothschild loved his poodle Poupon and he could frequently be found practising tricks in the East Gallery. To celebrate this fabulous duo, Waddesdon Manor have released a brand new doogy bag.

Named after Poupon the poodle, this pawsome doggy bag includes treats, a dog-friendly sorbet, and a fun new toy. And it’s only £5.90 per bag.

The best news? This weekend humans can get a free tea or coffee when they purchase a Poupon doggy bag in the Stables courtyard! Now that’s something to wag about.

Dog with toy and treats

So head to Waddesdon Manor this weekend and you can play together with a brand-new toy while you explore one of the five dog friendly routes, enjoy a tasty treat as you relax in the grounds, and watch them wolf down their own sorbet as you eat your lunch.

For details about the dog-friendly walks at Waddesdon see here.

We will be heading to Waddesdon on Sunday to sample the doggy bag for ourselves – so watch this space for a full review.

  • Dog water bowls can be found at the stables.
  • Dogs are not allowed inside any building including the house, shops and catering outlets, but you can sit with your dog in the Stables Courtyard, Manor Terrace or Coffee Bar outside the Manor shop for refreshments.
